Total sales for the Early Access version of Subnautica 2<\/em> surpassed two million copies sold within 12 hours of launch, developer Unknown Worlds Entertainment announced. One million of those sales were achieved within the first hour<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Subnautica 2<\/em> launched in Early Access for Xbox Series<\/a> and PC via Steam<\/a>, Epic Games Store<\/a>, and Microsoft Store<\/a> on May 14. It is also available via Game<\/a> Pass.<\/p>\n

The sequel continues to hold the number-one position on Steam\u2019s global top sellers charts across multiple countries.<\/p>\n

The game peaked a concurrent player count of over 651,000 across Steam, Epic Games Store, and Xbox Series, with Steam alone reaching a peak of more than 467,000 concurrent players. This is app<\/a>roximately nine times the all-time concurrent player count of the original Subnautica<\/em> released in 2018.<\/p>\n

On Twitch, Subnautica 2<\/em> reached more than 413,000 peak concurrent viewers, ranking number-one across all categories. YouTube<\/a> Live reached more than 109,000 peak concurrent viewers, ranking number-one in the gaming category.<\/p>\n
