The letter addressed to President Donald Trump read:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\" class=\"lazy-ad-parent\">\n<div id=\"section-6a11d5d78a226-paragraph-slot\" class=\"incontent-ad lazy-ad-slot\" data-base-div-id=\"pb-slot-incontent-2\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cAt this time, I must step away from public service to be by his side and fully support him through this battle. Abraham has been my rock throughout our eleven years of marriage. His strength and love have sustained me through every challenge. Her wonderful husband, Abraham, has been recently diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer, and she, rightfully, wants to be with him, bringing him back to good health as they currently fight a tough battle together. I have no doubt he will soon be better than ever. Tulsi has done an incredible job, and we will miss her. Her highly respected Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence, Aaron Lukas, will serve as Acting Director of National Intelligence.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The story is that Tulsi chose to resign for personal reasons, and we do feel for her and her family during this difficult time! Cancer is a horrible, horrible disease to go through. But there is speculation that her resignation may not have been voluntary!<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\" class=\"lazy-ad-parent\">\n<div id=\"section-6a11d5d78a235-paragraph-slot\" class=\"incontent-ad lazy-ad-slot\" data-base-div-id=\"pb-slot-incontent-2\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>You see, Tulsi reportedly was excluded from the Iran war discussions in the beginning and the planning of Venezuelan President <strong>Nicol\u00e1s Maduro<\/strong>\u2019s capture. There have also been reports that Trump\u2019s relationship with Tulsi soured because they had a lot of differences over policy, especially regarding Iran. And back in March, one of her top aides worsened things after he quit in protest of the war. <strong>Joe Kent<\/strong>, the former director of the <strong>National Counterterrorism Center<\/strong>, slammed the conflict in a letter to Trump, saying Iran \u201cposed no imminent threat to our nation\u201d before the US and Israel attacked the country on February 28.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly after his resignation, Tulsi declined to say whether Iran\u2019s nuclear program was an \u201cimminent threat\u201d to the US while testifying before the <strong>Senate<\/strong> panel. A month later,<em> The Guardian<\/em> reported that Trump privately asked other Cabinet members if he should fire Tulsi!\u00a0The president was then asked aboard <strong>Air Force One<\/strong> that same month if he still had confidence in her leadership, and he replied that she is \u201csofter\u201d on Tehran\u2019s nuclear ambitions than he is:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cYeah, sure. I mean, she\u2019s a little bit different in her thought process than me, but that doesn\u2019t make somebody not available to serve.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\" class=\"lazy-ad-parent\">\n<div id=\"section-6a11d5d78a239-paragraph-slot\" class=\"incontent-ad lazy-ad-slot\" data-base-div-id=\"pb-slot-incontent-2\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Now <em>Reuters<\/em> has reported that a source familiar with the matter claimed Tulsi was forced out by the White House, meaning she possibly didn\u2019t resign voluntarily at all!
