The McCain family is mourning another loss.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s with heavy hearts we report Doug McCain<\/strong>, the eldest son of the late John McCain<\/strong>, has passed away \u201csuddenly\u201d at 66 years old. The news<\/a> was first revealed on Wednesday, when HD Oliver Funeral Apartments<\/strong> shared an obituary for the Navy<\/strong> pilot revealing he \u201cdied suddenly\u201d that day \u2014 however, the obituary offered no further details on the circumstances surrounding his death. Doug\u2019s younger sister Meghan<\/strong>, 41, took to Instagram<\/strong> on Saturday to confirm the news with a heartbroken post:<\/p>\n

\u201cI am deeply saddened to share the news of my brother Doug McCain\u2019s sudden passing. He was a truly wonderful, joyful man who supported me throughout my life. He brought humor, fun and great conversation to every room. I will cherish our memories together.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
