\n\tDrew Carey took to social media<\/a> to slam Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cAnyone who votes for, or endorses Spencer Prattfall for Mayor of LA needs to get their head out of their ass,\u201d Carey wrote on Threads<\/a>. \u201cI understand being angry\/unsatisfied, but at least get behind someone competent and not some serial scammer without a soul or moral compass. Fuck this guy already.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFormer reality star Pratt (credits include The Hills, The Princes of Malibu <\/em>and I\u2019m a Celebrity\u2026 Get Me Out of Here!<\/em>) is one of several candidates vying for mayor of Los Angeles, running against incumbent Karen Bass. The primary is taking place June 2.<\/p>\n

\n\tPratt announced his candidacy in January 2026, a year after the Palisades wildfire leveled his family\u2019s home. He has become an outspoken activist in the wake of the fire. Bass also has been widely criticized for her handling of the multiples fires \u2014 which also included the Eaton fire \u2014 that burned across Los Angeles in January 2025.<\/p>\n

\n\tAmong those backing Pratt are Joe Rogan and President Donald Trump. Pratt\u2019s sister Stephanie, meanwhile, has voiced her opposition to his being mayor.<\/p>\n

\n\tIt was reported earlier this month that he\u2019d inked a deal to do a reality show about his run, but his reps downplayed that idea: \u201cThis is a non-starter as there is no signed contract. Nothing has been pitched, nothing has been filmed, there is no contact or deal of any sort in existence. Cameras have not been rolling and there are no plans at all for cameras to film.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHe\u2019s cast himself as non-partisan but has Republicans backing his campaign, as The Hollywood Reporter <\/em>previously reported.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
