Mackenzie Shirilla<\/strong>\u2018s ex-girlfriend is coming forward to make new bombshell claims about the convicted killer!<\/p>\n

Perezcious readers know she has been at the Ohio Reformatory for Women<\/strong> after being sentenced to serve 15 years to life for killing her 20-year-old boyfriend Dominic Russo<\/strong> and his 19-year-old friend Davion Flanagan<\/strong> in a brutal car crash. And while behind bars, Mackenzie had a girlfriend, Shyann Topping<\/strong>. Now, Shyann is opening up about life with the murderer.<\/p>\n

In an interview with People<\/em> on Tuesday, Shyann said she first noticed Mackenzie after she was transferred to the Ohio Reformatory for Women in 2023. They then officially met on the outdoor track at the facility:<\/p>\n

\u201cI walked up to her and said, \u2018You look good.’\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

According to Shyann, the pair started dating shortly afterward:<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen it started off we were good. We were just walking the track, she was smiling, because in prison \u2014two weeks in prison feels like two months. All you\u2019re doing is seeing the same people every single day, 24 hours a day.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

And they moved fast! By day two or three of the romance, Shyann claimed Mackenzie told her:<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy aren\u2019t you touching me? I want you to be all over me. I want you to be out here for everyone in the yard to see me.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Shyann said they formed a deep connection from there. Little did she know, however, that Mackenzie allegedly had been lying to her during their romance. The pair continued to date after Shyann got out of prison, but things between them started to fizzle after she started researching the fatal crash. When Shyann confronted Mackenzie and asked questions about what happ<\/a>ened, she claims she got very few answers. She eventually realized she was misled about the details of the killings, and they broke up. She also began in August 2025 to post a series<\/a> of videos on TikTok<\/strong> talking about her relationship with Mackenzie. Watch (below):<\/p>\n
