Publisher Xbox Game<\/a> Studios and developer Playground Games have delayed Fable<\/em> from its previously planned fall 2026 release window to February 2027. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe talked about Forza Horizon 6<\/em> and how the team at Playground is doing really well,\u201d Xbox chief content officer and executive vice president Mat Booty said on the Official Xbox Podcast<\/a>. \u201cAlso doing really well on Fable<\/em>. The game is in great shape. The team feels really good. We\u2019re excited about where the game is. We want to make sure that that game has a window all to its own, so we are going to move it from this fall to February. And again, we really just want it to have its own moment to shine.\u201d<\/p>\n

Booty continued, \u201cAnd related to Fable<\/em>, we will be seeing more of it in [Xbox Games Showcase 2026]. So we\u2019re going to have plenty for people to see. It really is coming together well, exciting stuff, and then we\u2019re going to move to February.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fable<\/i>will be available for\u00a0PlayStation 5,\u00a0Xbox Series<\/a>, and\u00a0PC\u00a0via\u00a0Steam<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Microsoft Store<\/a>, as well as via Game Pass.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
