A jury found Bill liable for sexual assault and sexual battery, awarding the victim $17.5 Million for past mental suffering and $1.75 Million for future suffering. She also received $40 million in punitive damages.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\" class=\"lazy-ad-parent\">\n<div id=\"section-6a1c35a25acd5-paragraph-slot\" class=\"incontent-ad lazy-ad-slot\" data-base-div-id=\"pb-slot-incontent-2\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Related: Noah Beck\u2019s Sister\u2019s School District Served Search Warrant After Alleged Relationship With Student<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>However, Bill filed for a new trial in April. He argued the punitive damages award is a third of his net worth and doesn\u2019t serve the purpose of deterrence, especially since he\u2019s \u201can 88-year-old man with no sight who lives an isolated life.\u201d But the judge isn\u2019t siding with Cosby! According to new legal documents obtained by <em>TMZ<\/em> on Friday, his motion for another chance to defend himself against the assault allegations has been DENIED!<\/p>\n<p>The judge determined that Bill failed to show any proof that he didn\u2019t have a fair trial the first time around, and he didn\u2019t prove that the $60 million in total damages were excessive. Per the docs, the co<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>n also failed to demonstrate that there wasn\u2019t enough evidence to justify the verdict or that the verdict was against the law.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\"><\/div>\n<div style=\"min-height:120px;width:100%;float:none;\" class=\"lazy-ad-parent\">\n<div id=\"section-6a1c35a25acd9-paragraph-slot\" class=\"incontent-ad lazy-ad-slot\" data-base-div-id=\"pb-slot-incontent-2\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>At this time, Bill hasn\u2019t reacted to the decision.
