The pain of Danielle Fishel<\/strong> and Will Friedle<\/strong>\u2018s former friend and Boy Meets World<\/em> co-star Ben Savage<\/strong> ghosting them out of the blue is still there after all this time!<\/p>\n

As you may recall, the pair, along with their other co-star Rider Strong<\/strong>, launched the Pod Meets World<\/em> podcast in 2022. They wanted him to join the show but shut down the idea immedia<\/a>tely. Not only that, the actor allegedly stopped answering all calls and texts from his castmates! He didn\u2019t go to conventions with them anymore! He just straight-up \u201cdisapp<\/a>eared\u201d from their lives!<\/p>\n

Will previously insisted they \u201cdidn\u2019t have a fight,\u201d \u201cthere was no animosity,\u201d nothing, so they have no clue why he ghosted them! Not even after all these years later! And Will told People<\/em> in a joint interview with Danielle on Wednesday that his sudden disappearance has been extremely \u201chard\u201d on them:<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, just today, literally we were recording an episode this morning of Pod Meets World and there came a question that we all wanted to know, that we know if Ben had been on with us, it would have been answered like that and we would have heard a great story.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Oof! Despite getting ghosted, Will is open to a reconciliation! He said:<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s so many times I want to pick up the phone and still do. I know I\u2019m shouting into the void, but I\u2019m going to keep doing it. I haven\u2019t given up on my friend. And I\u2019m hoping that he comes back into our lives at some point, and when he does, we\u2019re going to have a lot to talk about.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

If Ben does, you know that conversation is going to be a tough one! He has a loooot of explaining to do for disappearing on his longtime pals!<\/p>\n

Danielle, who played Ben\u2019s TV wife on Boy Meets World<\/em> and the reboot Girl Meets World<\/em>, similarly wishes she was still a part of his life, especially after he entered a new chapter in life \u2014 fatherhood. She said:<\/p>\n

\u201cI love imagining him in this new chapter of his life as a dad. I know he has had a baby girl. He\u2019s now a husband. So I love just thinking about him [in that capacity].\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

According to Danielle, Ben had been heavily involved in her life and her children\u2019s lives before their friendship unexpectedly ended. It now stings that he is a dad to a daughter, whom he welcomed with wife Tessa Angermeier<\/strong> in November 2025, and she isn\u2019t by his side during this time:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe talked a lot about how he looked forward to being a dad someday. So I like imagining this phase of life that he\u2019s in now. And it makes me sad sometimes when I think about the fact that I would love to just know, like, \u2018How\u2019s it going? What\u2019s happening now? What are the milestones that are being checked off?’\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
