\n A junior analyst at an investment bank was regularly harassed by her sex-obsessed boss \u2014 and was fired shortly after she caught him masturbating in a conference room, according to an explosive lawsuit.<\/p>\n

Logan Williams, who worked as a first-year analyst in the New York office of Marathon Capital, claims that her ex-boss, managing director Chuck Hinckley, regularly screamed at her to \u201cshut up,\u201d shared unwelcome details about his sex life and got too close to her at the office during the pandemic.<\/p>\n

Williams, a Coast Guard veteran and Columbia grad, also names Marathon\u2019s chief executive Ted Brandt in the complaint filed in the US Southern District of New York, claiming he ran a \u201cboy\u2019s club\u201d at Marathon, which had 10 men and no women on its senior leadership team.<\/p>\n

While one director called Williams \u201clittle missy,\u201d another told her she needed to be \u201cmore ladylike,\u201d according to court papers. She was also \u201cinapp<\/a>ropriately ogled by a supervisor\u201d at the firm who, according to the suit, \u201cjust stared at her breasts during conversations.\u201d Brandt himself asked Williams to \u201cinvite her model friends to the firm\u2019s Christmas party,\u201d the suit claims.<\/p>\n

Williams claims Hinckley regularly complained that his wife no longer had sex with him, making him a regular user of so-called \u201csugar daddy\u201d sex web sites. Throughout the pandemic, Williams says she went into the office to work with Hinckley. He lived in Connecticut but during the week stayed in a New York hotel, which he allegedly used to \u201centertain prostitutes,\u201d according to the suit.<\/p>\n

On July 13, Williams allegedly texted Brandt and operating chief Philippe Lavertu that she planned to work from home more because Hinckley had forced her to share an office and followed her if she moved around, invading her space.<\/p>\n

Ten days later, Williams says she told Hinckley she was coming into Marathon\u2019s Midtown office at 450 Lexington Ave. to pick up some things and show him a presentation. Upon entering a conference room that Hinckley had taken over as his personal office, Williams says that she found her boss masturbating and \u201cobserved an extremely surprised look\u201d on his face.<\/p>\n

As Hinckley was \u201cdesperately trying to push his penis back into his pants with his left hand,\u201d the suit claims he \u201cwas simultaneously moving his computer mouse with his right hand, apparently in an effort to close whatever was open (probably pornography) on his screen.\u201d<\/p>\n

A short time after, Hinckley \u201ccalled out to Ms. Williams and \u2013 acting like nothing had happened \u2013 insisted that she sit down with him to discuss work matters with her for over an hour,\u201d according to the suit.<\/p>\n

Williams attached to her complaint text messages she claims show that she immedia<\/a>tely reached out to multiple people about the incident. \u201cPants down and all?\u201d one managing director replied. \u201cHostile work environment.\u201d \u201cOmg hahaha,\u201d another executive replied.<\/p>\n

Williams also contends that she reported the incident to senior management and HR, prompting an investigation.<\/p>\n

A month later, Williams texted Brandt and Laverut, writing, \u201cyou are bank rolling a hotel for the bankers to bring young prostitutes, and your friends are masturbating in front of me.\u201d She also challenged Brandt\u2019s protection of Hinckley, typing \u201cTed, he can\u2019t even keep his wiener out of his hand from 9 to 5.\u201d<\/p>\n

Two days later, Williams was fired.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is unfortunate that our former employee has resorted to making baseless allegations that are nothing more than a desperate attempt to extract an undue payment,\u201d a Marathon spokesperson said in a statement, declining to comment further.<\/p>\n

Efforts to reach Hinckley for comment were unsuccessful. His bio is no longer listed on the firm\u2019s website and his LinkedIn account has also been removed. Hinckley is no longer employed at the firm, according to Williams\u2019 attorney, Michael Willemin of Wigdor LLP.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
