Publisher Lyrical Game<\/a>s and developer One More Level have delayed<\/a> single-player first-person Soulslike game Valor Mortis<\/em> from its previously announced September 24 release date to October 13. It will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series<\/a>, and PC via Steam<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The delay, according to the developer, is meant to avoid an already crowded September release schedule. September 24 alone will see the launches of Silent Hill: Townfall<\/em> and CONTROL Resonant<\/em>, followed a day later by Onimusha: Way of the Sword<\/em>. Elsewhere in the month, titles such as The Blood of Dawnwalker<\/em>, Fire Emblem: Fortune\u2019s Weave<\/em>, Minecraft Dungeons II<\/em>, Orbitals<\/em>, Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter<\/em>, Valheim<\/em>, and many others are planned to release.<\/p>\n

September has become absolutely stacked with incredible looking games. We knew this was a possibility, but when you\u2019re in a partner showcase as we were, dates get locked weeks in advance.<\/p>\n

We want to give valor mortis (and your wallet) some room to breathe.<\/p>\n

Therefore, we\u2019ve decided to move our release date to October 13.<\/p>\n

In the meantime, we just launched our demo on Steam and have been getting loads of feedback. This new date also gives us even more time to improve the game. Try it out, let us know what you think, and we\u2019ll see you in October!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n
