Taylor Swift<\/strong> and Travis Kelce<\/strong> are reportedly getting married at Madison Square Garden<\/strong> on July 3, but is that really the case? The wedding venue, though iconic and perfect for the whole security issue, may seem a bit too flashy and too much of a spectacle for this couple! Or if you\u2019re a hater, \u201ctrashy.\u201d But is it all a ruse to keep the real<\/em> plans under wraps? Sources are now saying yes!<\/p>\n

According to DailyMail.com<\/em><\/a>\u00a0on Thursday, the Madison Square Garden reports are all a \u201cdistraction plot\u201d to keep the actual wedding venue a secret! Sources alleged Taylor and Travis are getting married in a small, intimate ceremony with their close family and friends \u2014 not 1,000 people, despite previous claims \u2014 in a private location elsewhere! One insider explained:<\/p>\n

\u201cTaylor\u2019s official wedding will not have 1,000 guests. There is a private and highly secure ceremony planned for her closest family and friends. Guests of the wider party have been encouraged to donate gifts to charity but her actual wedding will be a small intimate gathering.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

That said, they are using the arena on the big day! The source said that \u201cthere is something [else] associated with MSG\u201d \u2014 but they don\u2019t know exactly what for! Guests suspect Taylor and Travis locked down Madison Square Garden for security screening purposes before they are shuttled off to the top-secret wedding location, though. Another insider noted:<\/p>\n

\u201cQR codes are going to be sent to guests. The only instructions they have are to arrive at MSG on July 3. The codes haven\u2019t gone out yet. A lot of guests think this may be a security screening to [then] go elsewhere because MSG is equipped for that with their facial recognition etc. But something involving the wedding is set there.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Where will the guest go after MSG? You would think somewhere else in the city, right? But app<\/a>arently not! New York is also supposedly meant to be a \u201cdistraction,\u201d and the actual venue could be Taylor\u2019s Rhode Island mansion:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe strong rumor is the location will be in New York. However, according to one of the few people the couple are believed to have shared their wedding secret with New York is a distraction. They\u2019ve tossed around tons of options since they got engaged last August. They came up with some amazing destination locations but decided their privacy could be easily invaded. The thing is, however, Westerly Police Department Chief Paul Gingerella<\/strong> told TMZ<\/em> last week that the cops and town haven\u2019t been involved or notified about a wedding for the pair this summer! Considering how famous Taylor and Travis are, they would\u2019ve been alerted ahead of time, especially to help out with security in the town (and avoid what happened with fans when the pop star attended Jack Antonoff<\/strong>\u2018s wedding). So, unless the police chief is pulling a Tay Tay and trying to steer folks off the right track, if the local law enforcement are in the dark about the plans, it seems unlikely her home in Rhode Island is the location! But who knows!<\/p>\n

Another source added that Taylor and Travis really plan to celebrate their nuptials all over the place, including Rhode Island and New York, over the next few weeks:<\/p>\n

Before Travis has to return to his NFL commitments, they are also looking to treat the entire [July 4] weekend and the weeks before the end of July as a continuous celebration and are looking to have some more intimate get togethers with close family in New York and Rhode Island and of course Kansas City. They are looking to have a little bit of a wedding tour. She wants it to feel truly unique and unlike anything she\u2019s done before \u2013 a one-of-a-kind event that reflects her style and vision in a way only Taylor can do it.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Ultimately, no matter where they get hitched, everyone can \u201cexpect a massive party\u201d from them! Guests should get ready for a lot of dancing, drinking, and more until the early hours of the morning! A different insider noted:<\/p>\n

\u201cTravis and Taylor enjoy having cocktails and dancing and having a good time, so everyone\u2019s expecting a late night party into the wee hours of the morning. They\u2019re both big social<\/a> drinkers. A lot of people are expecting some special secret performances with Taylor even taking the mic herself, but nobody knows anything and since everyone signed NDAs, people are staying silent.
