That\u2019s a minor 0.75 percent increase in 24 hours, or $78. It was the highest closing price in one day.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re still 47 percent below Bitcoin\u2018s all-time high of $20,089 (December 17 2017).<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Bitcoin_market_cap\"><\/span>Bitcoin market cap<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Bitcoin\u2018s market cap ended the day at $194,932,197,947. It now commands 59 percent of the total crypto market.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Bitcoin_volume\"><\/span>Bitcoin volume<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Yesterday\u2019s volume of $23,621,787,804 was the lowest in two days, 2 percent above last\u00a0year\u2019s average, and 68 percent below last\u00a0year\u2019s high.\u00a0That means that yesterday, the Bitcoin network shifted the equivalent of 391 tons of gold.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Bitcoin_transactions\"><\/span>Bitcoin transactions<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>A total of 312,860 transactions were conducted yesterday, which is 1 percent below last\u00a0year\u2019s average and 30 percent below last\u00a0year\u2019s high.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Bitcoin_transaction_fee\"><\/span>Bitcoin transaction fee<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Yesterday\u2019s average transaction fee concerned $1.37. That\u2019s $2.54 below last\u00a0year\u2019s high of $3.91.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Bitcoin_distribution_by_address\"><\/span>Bitcoin distribution by address<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>As of now, there are 17,347 Bitcoin millionaires, or addresses containing more than $1 million worth of Bitcoin.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the top 10 Bitcoin addresses house 4.8 percent of the total supply, the top 100 14.0 percent, and the top 1000 34.8 percent.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Company_with_a_market_cap_closest_to_Bitcoin\"><\/span>Company with a market cap closest to Bitcoin<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>With a market capitalization of $197 billion, Novartis\u00a0has a market capitalization most similar to that of Bitcoin at the moment.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Bitcoins_path_towards_1_million\"><\/span>Bitcoin\u2019s path towards $1 million<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>On November 29 2017 notorious Bitcoin evangelist John McAfee <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/officialmcafee\/status\/935900326007328768\">predicted<\/a> that Bitcoin would reach a price of $1 million by the end of 2020.<\/p>\n<p>He even promised to eat his own dick if it doesn\u2019t. Unfortunately for him it\u2019s $606K behind being on track.
