HIDIVE has announced the license acquisition of the <\/span>I\u2019m Dating a Dark Summoner<\/span><\/i> TV anime<\/a> series<\/a>. The short form anime series will be exclusively simulcast on the service when it <\/span>premieres in Japan in October 2026<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m Dating a Dark Summoner <\/span><\/i>will be part of HIDIVE\u2019s Fall 2026 simulcast season and will be available in the U.S. and Canada, as well as U.K., Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Seiya Miyajima<\/b> (<\/span>GANSO! BanG Dream Chan <\/span><\/i>co-director) is directing the anime series at <\/span>AtoriE<\/b> and is also the series composer. <\/span>Nyan Pollution-\u03c9-<\/b> is credited with the animation production co-operation. WWWave Corporation\u2018s adult anime-theme<\/a>d <\/span>Deregula<\/span> label is involved in the anime\u2019s production.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the anime\u2019s voice cast includes <\/span>Rei Takano <\/b>as the dark summoner Amona, <\/span>Yuki Nishiyama<\/b> as Roni, and <\/span>Senmai Hodentei <\/b>as Imp.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>erotic fantasy rom-com manga series<\/span> by <\/span>Shaoh<\/b> was first serialized on Kadokawa\u2019s KadoComi website under its Dra Dra Sharp# brand on November 4, 2021. It has also been serialized on the Niconico Seiga service since December 24, 2021. Seven tankobon volumes have been released in Japan as of March 2026.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
