The\u00a0<strong>Dave Bautista<\/strong> comedy was originally supposed to open summer 2019 but then got pushed to 2020. And it would\u2019ve kept its 2020 theatrical release date had it not been for that pesky coronavirus. Now, the movie is headed right to Amazon Prime this month, so gather up the fam, pop some corn, and get ready to stream this bad boy. More on the new\u00a0<em>My Spy<\/em> release date below.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"My_Spy\"><\/span><strong>My Spy<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"416\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/pfAhQSz-j_o?feature=oembed\" width=\"740\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The long, strange saga of\u00a0<em>My Spy<\/em> is almost at an end. The\u00a0<strong>Peter Segal<\/strong>-directed comedy that stars\u00a0Dave Bautista as a rough-around-the-edges CIA agent forced to hang out with a child was originally set for an August 23, 2019 release date. It was then moved to January 2020, then moved again to April 17, 2020. And of course, that didn\u2019t work out either, due to the coronavirus pandemic shutting down movie theaters.<\/p>\n<p>In early April,\u00a0Amazon Studios acquired distribution rights to the film, and now they\u2019ve given it a release date: June 26, exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. <em>My\u00a0Sp<\/em>y\u00a0follows JJ\u00a0(Dave Bautista), \u201ca hardened CIA operative who has been demoted and finds himself at the mercy of a precocious 9-year-old girl, named Sophie (Chloe Coleman) where he has been sent undercover begrudgingly to surveil her family.\u00a0When Sophie discovers hidden cameras in her apartment, she uses her tech-savviness to locate where the surveillance operation is set.\u00a0In exchange for not blowing JJ\u2019s cover, Sophie convinces him to spend time with her and teach her to be a\u00a0spy. Despite his reluctance, JJ finds he is no match for Sophie\u2019s disarming charm and wit.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The cast includes\u00a0Dave Bautista,\u00a0<strong>Chloe Coleman<\/strong>,<strong>\u00a0Kristen Schaal<\/strong>, <strong>Parisa Fitz-Henley<\/strong>, and<strong> Ken Jeong<\/strong>, with\u00a0Peter Segal directing from a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">script<\/a> by Jon and Erich Hoeber.
