Character AI co-founder Noam Shazeer also announced this week that he\u2019s leaving DeepMind \u2014 though in Shazeer\u2019s case, he\u2019s joining OpenAI.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jumper and Hassabis won the Nobel Prize in 2024 for their work on AlphaFold, an AI model that can predict the 3D structure of proteins based on their genetic sequences.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
