The upcoming Eleceed<\/em> TV anime<\/a> has received a key visual and a broadcast start delay from 2026 to early 2027. The show was revealed last June.<\/span><\/p>\n

Eleceed<\/em> is based on the webtoon by Jeho Son<\/strong>\u00a0(writer and creator) and\u00a0ZHENA<\/strong> (artist). WEBTOON describes the source material\u2019s synopsis as such:<\/span><\/p>\n

Jiwoo is a kind-hearted young man who harnesses the lightning quick reflexes of a cat to secretly make the world a better place \u2013 one saved little child or foster pet at a time. Kayden is a secret agent on the run, who finds himself stuck in the body of a\u2026um\u2026decidedly fat old fluffy cat. Together, armed with Jiwoo\u2019s super powers and Kayden\u2019s uber-smarts, they\u2019re out to fight those forces who would let evil rule this world. That is, if they can stand each other long enough to get the job done.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Hiroshi Nishikiori<\/strong>\u00a0(Honey Lemon Soda<\/em>,\u00a0Argonavis from Bang Dream!<\/em>,\u00a0A Certain Magical Index<\/em>) is directing the anime at DandeLion Animation Studio<\/strong>. Other staff include character designer Minami Sakura<\/strong>, script<\/a>writer and series<\/a> composer\u00a0Yosuke Kuroda<\/strong>\u00a0(My Hero Academia\u00a0<\/em>series composer), and assistant director Miyuki Wakai<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The first chapter of the Eleceed <\/em>webtoon was released on Naver Webtoon in Korean in 2018.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Son and ZHENA are set to appear at Anime Expo 2026 at the Amuse Creative Studio Presents: New Anime Launch panel on July 4. The panel will be held at 404AB from 3:45 PM to 5:05 PM.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
