The app ties into the Cursor 2.0 changes <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/cursor.com\/blog\/2-0\">unveiled in October<\/a>, which shifted the service towards independent coding agents. With the mobile app, users can spin up new coding agents or interact with agents that were initiated from the desktop client.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cursor\u2019s move to mobile follows similar apps from Anthropic and OpenAI, both of which offer ways to interact with their coding tools on mobile.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s part of a broader shift in AI-based coding tools, which are increasingly abstracting away from written code and towards oversight of code-writing agents.
