\n TORONTO \u2014 Air travelers in Canada will need to have their temperatures checked before they are allowed to board planes, although the country\u2019s transport minister says the system will take months to get going.<\/p>\n

The measure is meant to keep the coronavirus from spreading as more people start flying again.<\/p>\n

Transport Minister Marc Garneau says the requirement will be phased in, starting at the end of June for international flights into Canada.<\/p>\n

By the end of July, the program will expand to Canada\u2019s four largest airports \u2014 Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and Calgary. Eleven more Canadian airports serving mostly domestic travelers will be added at the end of September.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
