\n Growing up in a strict Baptist family, Nikole Mitchell was expected to be quiet, reserved and sweet. But her dreams weren\u2019t quite so conservative.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom a young age, I had fantasized about being a stripper,\u201d Mitchell, who now works as an erotic dancer on OnlyFans, told The Post. \u201cBut I was indoctrinated to believe my desires and my body were innately sinful and bad.\u201d<\/p>\n

So instead of pursuing the pole, the mother of three went all-in on religion \u2014 and became a pastor. Even that, however, was rebellious in her family\u2019s eyes.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was taught that women aren\u2019t allowed to lead and that women belong in the kitchen and with the children,\u201d said Mitchell, 36. \u201cSo even though it went against everything I was told, I decided to become [a pastor] because of my love for performing.\u201d<\/p>\n

In 2011, Mitchell, along with her now ex-husband, joined the Woodland Hills Church \u2014 an evangelist megachurch in St. Paul, Minnesota \u2014 which opened her eyes to the possibility of gender equality within the faith.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt blew my mind,\u201d she recalled of her first visit to the holy house. Every Sunday, Mitchell was the first in line to ask the pastor a question after the sermon.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne of my pastors said \u2018Nikole, did you realize that you\u2019re a theologian? And they said, \u2018We\u2019d like you to be one of our pastors,\u2019\u2009\u201d she recalled. \u201cTo be on stage in front of thousands of people \u2014 that\u2019s what I had been dreaming of for years.\u201d<\/p>\n

Eager to rise up the ranks, Mitchell \u2014 who was also raising three kids now aged, 10, 7 and 4 \u2014 snagged a spot as a weekly pastor in 2016.<\/p>\n

But Mitchell\u2019s true identity began to unfurl when she attended a LGBT-oriented theater performance later in 2016.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was like, \u2018Oh my gosh, I don\u2019t think I\u2019m straight\u2019 and it rocked my world,\u201d said Mitchell, who now identifies as bisexual and pansexual. \u201cI knew if I revealed my queerness I would lose it all because the church is not welcoming to queer people.\u201d<\/p>\n

She suddenly felt as if she was living \u201ca very duplicitous life\u201d and struggled to keep her sexuality a secret.<\/p>\n

So after giving her first widely-attended weekend sermon on July 4th weekend in 2017, Mitchell left the church for good.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just never showed up again,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

A few months later, Mitchell came out publicly in a confessional YouTube video<\/a> posted on her social media<\/a> platforms.<\/p>\n

Faced with rebuilding her life, she wondered what was next.<\/p>\n

\u201cI started following my life coach\u2019s wife [on Instagram] who was doing lingerie modeling,\u201d said Mitchell. \u201cI was kind of triggered by it . . . but I was also magnetically drawn to it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mitchell knew she wanted to delve deeper into her own sexual desires and signed up for a class called \u201cSexpress You.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was all about expressing your sexy self and that was the linchpin that I needed,\u201d said Mitchell. Right after, she linked up with a photographer to do her first nude photoshoot.<\/p>\n

\u201cI cried because I had never felt more holy and sacred in my life,\u201d she recalled of the shoot. \u201cI never felt more sexy and liberated than I did then.\u201d<\/p>\n

Thrilled with her new calling as a stripper and erotic model, Mitchell launched an OnlyFans account where she posts explicit photos and videos in exchange for money.<\/p>\n

\u201cI started off really timid like just topless photos, but now I\u2019m at the point where I take personal requests and make videos very tailored to people\u2019s specific desires,\u201d said Mitchell, who also works as a life coach and offers courses such as \u201cHow to Unf\u2009-\u2009-\u2009k Yourself\u201d about how to be your true self. \u201cI\u2019m to the point where back in March I was actually going to be paid several thousand dollars to have sex with someone, and I was A-OK with that, but then COVID hit and that got cancelled.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mitchell relocated to Los Angeles in August 2019, and divorced her husband in June.<\/p>\n

But today, Mitchell is happier than ever.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery person has the right to express themselves in whatever way feels good to them and this is how it feels good to me,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

And while her preaching days might be behind her, stripping, for Mitchell<\/a>, is just as holy.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy sexuality is incredibly healing and sacred,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd when I give this gift to people, it blesses them.\u201d<\/p><\/div>\n
