The official Twitter<\/a> account and website<\/span><\/a> for Attack on Titan<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/a> has announced today that the final season of Attack on Titan<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/a> will start broadcasting on Japan's national broadcaster NHK-G on December 7<\/strong>, concluding the epic saga that started back in 2013. A new visual was released<\/span><\/a> to coincide with the announcement. The final season was announced<\/span><\/a> last year to be airing in the fall 2020 anime season, which starts in October and concludes at the end of December.<\/p>\n

The series adapts the ongoing manga from Hajime Isayama<\/strong> that runs monthly in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine. Isayama<\/strong> said in an interview<\/span><\/a> on Japanese show Shin Joho 7days News<\/a>caster in June 2020 that the manga series was "about 5%" away from completion, with only that last little bit left for the series. <\/p>\n

The official Attack on Titan<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/a> Twitter account announced<\/span><\/a> on May 29 that the series will be airing on NHK-G in Japan, with MAPP<\/a>A taking over the production of the anime from WIT STUDIO. Attack on Titan<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/a> Final Season<\/strong><\/em> will be directed by Yuichiro Hayashi<\/strong> (Dorohedoro<\/em><\/strong>, Kakegurui<\/strong><\/em>) with series composition by Hiroshi Seko<\/strong>, character designs by Tomohiro Kishi<\/strong>, and Kohta Yamamoto<\/strong> working on the music alongside series composer Hiroyuki Sawano<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Crunchyroll announced<\/span><\/a> on September 22 that the final season will be coming to the streaming service "later this year<\/em>", and is currently streaming<\/span><\/a> all of <\/span>Attack on Titan<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n
