Revolut is handing its customers free access to ChatGPT, the result of a new partnership with OpenAI. The fintech, which says it now serves more than 75 million people worldwide, is bundling OpenAI\u2019s ChatGPT Go into its subscript<\/a>ion plans, giving anywhere from three months to a year of the service at no extra cost.<\/p>\n The perk scales with how much you already pay. Revolut\u2019s top Ultra tier gets twelve months of ChatGPT Go plus a twelve-month \u201cbuddy pass\u201d<\/em> to hand a friend, Metal gets a year, Premium and Revolut Pro get six months, and even the free Standard tier gets three months as a promotion.<\/p>\n This is not Revolut\u2019s first move into AI. The company has built its own in-app assistant,\u00a0called AIR, and is reported to lean on OpenAI\u2019s models behind the scenes for fraud monitoring and customer support, so the ChatGPT perk sits on top of a deeper relationship.<\/p>\n The rollout is staggered. Paid subscribers and Revolut Pro users can redeem the benefit immedia<\/a>tely in the app, while Plus and Standard customers will get it over the coming weeks, a familiar pattern of rewarding the higher tiers first.<\/p>\n What they are getting is the paid-lite version of ChatGPT. The perk is a free ChatGPT subscription, not a pipe feeding your bank balance into an AI, and Revolut is not handing OpenAI your transaction history to unlock it.<\/p>\n But the direction of travel<\/a> is unmistakable.
