Two months later, as SpaceX became a public company, the companies said they were moving forward with the acquisition.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--mobile ad-unit--has-placeholder ad-unit--display wp-block-tc-ads-ad-slot has-background has-gray-100-background-color\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ad-unit ad-unit--desktop ad-unit--native wp-block-tc-ads-ad-slot\">\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In its announcement that the deal has closed, Cursor repeatedly referenced SpaceX\u2019s computing infrastructure, which the company has been renting out to customers including Anthropic and Google. (SpaceX also faces a lawsuit over the pollution created by its data center gas turbines.)<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cursor said that by becoming part of SpaceX, it will have \u201caccess to the largest fleet of GPUs in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSpaceX is building the computing capacity needed to scale intelligence far beyond what exists today,\u201d the company added. \u201cCursor will be one place where that intelligence becomes useful.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
