AirPods with cameras?<\/a><\/li><\/ul><\/nav><\/div>\n<div>\n<p id=\"speakable-summary\" class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s finally h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ening \u2014 this week, we are (probably) about to see Apple\u2019s first foldable iPhone, more than five years after Samsung launched its first foldable phone.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apple\u2019s annual iPhone release events are always interesting in one way or another, but this year\u2019s presentation is one of the most anticipated in a while. As Tim Cook hands off the CEO role to former Vice President of Hardware Engineering John Ternus, people have high expectations for Apple\u2019s next devices, especially since the company is embracing an entirely new form factor.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While Apple is usually tight-lipped about its product launches, there are always inevitable leaks, giving us insight into what we might see during the September 9 Apple event. While the foldable iPhone is most exciting, we\u2019re also anticipating <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> about AirPods, HomePods, and the non-foldable iPhone 18 line. <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-we-think-we-know-so-far-about-the-foldable-iphone-ultra\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_we_think_we_know_so_far_about_the_foldable_%E2%80%9CiPhone_Ultra%E2%80%9D\"><\/span>What we think we know so far about the foldable \u201ciPhone Ultra\u201d<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If Apple has made its consumers wait over half a decade for it to enter the foldable market, its first attempt had better be good \u2014 especially since reports indicate that the phone will cost <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/markets\/stocks\/article\/apples-first-foldable-iphone-may-cost-2000-110739523.html\">more than $2,000<\/a>. At least it\u2019s not as pricey as the $3,500 Apple Vision Pro headset, and unlike headsets, people actually buy smartphones.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The good news is that people who claim to be early testers of the device have reported back positive experiences. According to Bloomberg\u2019s Apple insider Mark Gurman, the foldable iPhone has a <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/newsletters\/2026-08-23\/apple-s-foldable-iphone-details-retail-store-changes-for-new-home-products-mt5vjf61\">premium feel<\/a>, fits nicely into a pocket, and opens up into a wide, iPad-like display. The phone is expected to sport a 5.5\u2033 cover display, which expands to 7.8\u2033 when the screen is unfolded. When folded in, the device will look shorter and wider than a typical iPhone.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To make hardware that\u2019s still sleek enough to pocket when folded, Apple has had to make some concessions. The device reportedly skips the telephoto camera, which could be disappointing to the kind of consumers who are willing to open their pockets for a phone that\u2019s expensive enough to feed a family for months. However, the phone is expected to have a dual-lens rear camera system with a main and an ultra-wide lens, similar to what\u2019s on Apple\u2019s more basic iPhones.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rumor has it that Apple will include MagSafe, the magnetic wireless charging and accessory system, but that it will <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/forums.macrumors.com\/threads\/iphone-ultra-wows-early-testers-except-for-its-camera.2487765\/\">forego Face ID<\/a> to save space, relying instead on a Touch ID fingerprint button on the phone\u2019s side. This shouldn\u2019t be a huge concession \u2014 touching a button is about as easy as looking at a screen \u2014 but it might take some getting used to if you\u2019ve become accustomed to Face ID.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Like other foldable phones, the iPhone Ultra is expected to support side-by-side multitasking, letting you run two apps at once, one on each half of the unfolded screen. Even though it\u2019ll resemble a small iPad when opened up, it will <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2026-03-11\/apple-s-foldable-iphone-to-feature-ipad-like-interface-when-opened\">still run iOS<\/a> rather than iPadOS, though shouldn\u2019t be cause for concern, since Apple\u2019s newest chips are powerful enough to handle it. In fact, the same chip reportedly powers Apple\u2019s budget MacBook Neo laptop.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A pain point for foldable phone users thus far has been the dreaded \u201c<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2026-03-11\/apple-s-foldable-iphone-to-feature-ipad-like-interface-when-opened\">crease<\/a>.\u201d With other companies\u2019 foldable phones, you can see the evidence when you open the phone that this isn\u2019t your standard display. It\u2019s a hard problem to solve and one that maybe isn\u2019t worth the technical effort, though Apple has supposedly created a display where the crease isn\u2019t as visible.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-don-t-worry-you-can-still-get-a-new-iphone-that-doesn-t-fold\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Dont_worry_you_can_still_get_a_new_iPhone_that_doesnt_fold\"><\/span>Don\u2019t worry, you can still get a new iPhone that doesn\u2019t fold<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If foldables aren\u2019t your thing \u2014 or if you don\u2019t want to spend double the price on your next phone \u2014 don\u2019t worry. Apple is also expected to release some new devices in the iPhone 18 line. We\u2019ve heard leaks about the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, but not much yet about the standard iPhone 18, which is <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/newsletters\/2025-11-16\/apple-s-iphone-road-map-iphone-air-2-iphone-18-mac-pro-future-tesla-carplay-mi1q4l2o\">predicted<\/a> to arrive six months after the September event. That would be a first for Apple \u2014 releasing the premium models before the standard one.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-siri-homepods-airpods-with-cameras\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Siri_HomePods_AirPods_with_cameras\"><\/span>Siri HomePods? AirPods with cameras? <span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now that Apple is finally moving forward with its Gemini-powered Siri AI update, the company is also expected to refresh the HomePod, a smart speaker and Apple\u2019s answer to devices like the Amazon Echo line. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">References to unreleased products, including new HomePods, were recently spotted by users digging through a <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/2026\/08\/17\/macos-26-7-unreleased-apple-devices\/\">macOS preview build<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The most surprising find, however, is that Apple appears to be working on AirPods with built-in cameras. In that same macOS preview, researcher <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/aaronperris.com\/\">Aaron Perris<\/a> found a video showing someone wearing the AirPods and picking up a book.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWith Visual Intelligence, your world becomes savable. See something you like? Just ask me to save it for later,\u201d a voiceover in the video says.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While some users may be skittish about using a device that can see what they see \u2014 comparisons to Meta\u2019s maligned \u201cpervert glasses\u201d are inevitable \u2014  we have some degree of hope that a company like Apple, which has built its brand on privacy, will do better.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gurman <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2026-05-07\/apple-s-camera-equipped-airpods-reach-advanced-testing-stage-in-ai-device-push\">has reported<\/a> that \u201cthe cameras essentially act as eyes for the Siri digital assistant and aren\u2019t designed to take photos or video.\u201d Instead, the earbuds\u2019 components allow it to \u201ccapture visual information in low resolution.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><em>When you purchase through links in our articles, we may earn a small commission.
