ChatGPT Ads inventory will be available through Amazon DSP as a managed service, with Amazon helping advertisers set up and optimize campaigns. Delta Vacations is among a select group of U.S. advertisers participating in the pilot.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The integration is limited to the U.S. at launch.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Why we care. <\/strong>The pilot gives Amazon advertisers a new route into ChatGPT Ads without requiring them to manage campaigns directly through OpenAI. It also connects one of the largest digital advertising platforms with an emerging conversational ad channel.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The details<\/strong>. Advertisers can buy ChatGPT inventory on both a cost-per-click and CPM basis. Amazon is also offering product feed ads that automatically create ad assets using advertisers\u2019 product catalogs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ads will <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ear as text and image units beneath organic ChatGPT responses and will carry sponsored labels.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Zoom in<\/strong>. Buying through Amazon doesn\u2019t mean Amazon decides where an advertiser appears inside ChatGPT.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">OpenAI will continue to control ad delivery and placement through its own systems.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That creates a split between the two platforms: Amazon provides the buying and campaign-management layer, while OpenAI controls how those ads are ultimately served within ChatGPT.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Measurement:<\/strong> Advertisers testing the integration will receive aggregated performance data including impressions, clicks, cost per result, CPM and CPC.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Amazon\u2019s shopping and streaming data could also make the integration particularly interesting for advertisers looking to combine its audience insights with ChatGPT\u2019s conversational context.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The big picture<\/strong>. The partnership gives OpenAI access to Amazon\u2019s massive advertiser base as it works to scale ChatGPT Ads.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It could also broaden ChatGPT\u2019s appeal to nonendemic Amazon advertisers \u2014 companies that don\u2019t necessarily sell products on Amazon but already use Amazon DSP to reach audiences elsewhere.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What to watch<\/strong>. Whether OpenAI expands Amazon DSP access beyond the initial U.S. pilot and how much demand the partnership generates from advertisers that already use Amazon\u2019s advertising ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Bottom line<\/strong>. <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.marketingdive.com\/news\/amazon-pilots-ad-services-in-chatgpt-what-marketers-need-to-know\/829945\/\">Amazon is becoming another gateway into ChatGPT Ads<\/a>, but OpenAI isn\u2019t handing over control of its inventory.
