NBC is changing things around. The network just announced they\u2019ve shifted the fall premiere dates for\u00a0Superstore\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Connecting<\/em>.<\/p>\n

A new comedy TV show,\u00a0Connecting\u00a0<\/em>\u201cis an ensemble comedy about a group of friends trying to stay close (and sane) through video chats as they share the highs and lows of these extraordinary times.\u201d The cast includes Otmara Marrero, Parvesh Cheena, Shakina Nayfack, Preacher Lawson, Ely Henry, Jill Knox and Keith Powell.<\/p>\n

Connecting<\/em> will now debut on NBC on October 8th at 8 p.m. ET\/PT<\/strong>, followed by the season six premiere of\u00a0Superstore\u00a0<\/em>on\u00a0October 29th at 8 p.m. ET\/PT<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The premiere dates for NBC comedies \u201cConnecting \u2026 \u201d and \u201cSuperstore\u201d will be shifting to Oct. 8 and Oct. 29, respectively.<\/p>\n

CONNECTING \u2026<\/p>\n

\u00b7 \u201cConnecting \u2026 \u201d will debut Thursday, Oct. 8 at 8 p.m. and then move to 8:30 p.m. beginning Oct. 29.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 \u201cConnecting \u2026\u201d is an ensemble comedy about a group of friends trying to stay close (and sane) through video chats as they share the highs and lows of these extraordinary times.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Otmara Marrero, Parvesh Cheena, Shakina Nayfack, Preacher Lawson, Ely Henry, Jill Knox and Keith Powell star.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Martin Gero and Brendan Gall write and executive produce. The series is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.<\/p>\n

SUPERSTORE<\/p>\n

\u00b7 \u201cSuperstore\u201d will debut Thursday, Oct. 29 at 8 p.m.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 For the 2019-20 season, linear telecasts of \u201cSuperstore\u201d averaged a 1.1 rating in adults 18-49 and 3.8 million viewers overall in \u201clive plus seven day\u201d Nielsens, and the show continues to rank as one of NBC\u2019s strongest digital performers, generating 50% of its \u201clive plus 35 day\u201d 18-49 average for the season from digital sources, to rank as NBC\u2019s #2 most digital comedy behind only \u201cBrooklyn Nine-Nine.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u00b7 The show\u2019s season premiere last fall has multiplied its next-day \u201clive plus same day\u201d 18-49 rating by five times with digital and linear delayed viewing to date (from a 0.76 in L+SD to a 4.31, +467%), and has grown by +6.1 million persons in total viewers (from 2.9 million to 9.1 million).<\/p>\n

\u00b7 America Ferrera will guest star in the first two episodes of the season. \u201cSuperstore\u201d stars Ben Feldman, Lauren Ash, Colton Dunn, Nico Santos, Nichole Sakura, Kaliko Kauahi and Mark McKinney.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 \u201cSuperstore\u201d was created by Justin Spitzer, who serves as an executive producer with America Ferrera, director Ruben Fleischer, David Bernad and Victor Nelli Jr. Gabe Miller & Jonathan Green serve as executive producers and co-showrunners.<\/p>\n
