Debris is getting worse!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>NASA said it spotted the debris late and had to fire the engines of a Russian cargo spaceship attached to the International Space Station (ISS) to avert it.<\/p>\n<p>Having safely dodged the object, Chris Cassidy, Anatoly Ivanishin and Ivan Vagner, the current crew, have now resumed their regular duties.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the need for an urgent maneuver, NASA claimed the crew was never in any danger.<\/p>\n<div class=\"embed-wrapper twitter\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Space_Station?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@Space_Station<\/a> has maneuvered 3 times in 2020 to avoid debris.
