Earlier this month, Kyoto-headquartered JB Works, which sells luxury jewellery, bags, and watches, released the animated concept music video \u201cORBIT.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Set on an app<\/a>arent derelict space colony and starring the company\u2019s original PR characters, \u201cORBIT\u201d was directed by <\/span>Kabukyuu<\/strong><\/a> (\u201cNisshin Gekko\u201d music video) and has <\/span>tama<\/strong> and featured artist <\/span>Mary<\/strong> credited for the song. JB Works says that the work carries the sentiment of reusing branded products.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Kabukyuu, who also handled the storyboards, layouts, backgrounds, compositing, and some of the animation and painting, has made some posts<\/a> about the video on X\/Twitter<\/a> following its release. In one of these<\/a>, they revealed that a cut with god rays made use of footage of actual smoke illuminated by a projector.<\/span><\/p>\n
