\n A pick-up truck driver plowed through a group of protesters in Los Angeles Thursday night, hurling one of the demonstrators to the ground before speeding away, according to reports.<\/p>\n

The crowd of demonstrators were marching down Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood just before 9 p.m. when the black truck accelerated through the crowd, the Los Angeles Times reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The truck slammed into one of the protesters, sending them flying backward and onto the ground, video of the scene posted to Twitter shows<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The truck then sped away, nearly missing two other protesters, according to the report.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Fire Department told the Times that paramedics were called to the scene near Sunset Boulevard and Seward Street and rushed one person to a hospital. Further information was not released.<\/p>\n

The protesters had gathered about two hours prior at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery to march against a Kentucky grand jury\u2019s decision to not indict the cops involved in Breonna Taylor\u2019s death in her killing, according to the Times.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
