That might be an admirable goal, \u201cbut to seek to diversify the Everson by selling off the jewel of its collection flies in the face of a fundamental tenet of museum governance\u201d: \u201cIn return for its special tax status and similar privileges, it is expected\u201d to preserve important pieces for Americans, not let them go into private ownership, \u201cnever again [to] be seen by the public.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tech beat: Censoring COVID News From China<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Big Tech reacted rapidly to Chinese virologist Dr. Li-Meng Yan\u2019s claims that the Chinese Communist Party designed and intentionally released the virus to the world, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tabletmag.com\/sections\/news\/articles\/covid-twitter-facebook-censorship-china-lee-smith\">Lee Smith notes at Tablet magazine<\/a>: Twitter suspended her account, while Facebook and Instagram added warnings to videos of her interview. Yan\u2019s charges seem \u00ad\u201cimpossible to ever prove,\u201d yet \u201cChina\u2019s public actions\u201d certainly sow doubt, and \u201cthe CCP has never given straight answers about the origins of the pandemic\u201d and \u201cwaged an active disinformation campaign about the origins and effects of the virus.\u201d Meanwhile, YouTube and others have blocked even medical experts, including \u201cthe head of epidemiology at Rockefeller University,\u201d for questioning the lockdowns. This isn\u2019t stopping \u201cmisinformation,\u201d it\u2019s protecting \u201ca political narrative\u201d \u2014 one that happens to serve both China\u2019s rulers and America\u2019s elite \u201cChina class,\u201d which profits from doing business with Beijing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Space race: A Great Place to Visit \u2013 on the Moon<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>NASA has hinted that it may not be able to land at the moon\u2019s South Pole as planned during a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trip<\/a> there in 2024, but <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/opinion\/op-eds\/send-artemis-3-to-the-lost-apollo-landing-site-of-tycho\">Mark Whittington at the Washington Examiner<\/a> offers another site: Tycho, a crater that is one of the lunar satellite\u2019s most \u201cscientifically interesting\u201d features. The site contains \u201cboulders and melted material\u201d formed during \u201cthe original \u00adimpact\u201d that created the crater. Samples would \u201cadvance our understanding of lunar science considerably.\u201d Of course, \u201cany voyage of discovery to the moon,\u201d whether to the South Pole or \u201ca place such as Tycho, would be a balm for a world wracked by pandemic and civil strife.
