\n An Oklahoma State linebacker said he tested positive for the coronavirus after attending a protest, according to new reports.<\/p>\n

Amen Ogbongbemiga announced his diagnosis on Twitter<\/a> Tuesday evening.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter attending a protest in Tulsa AND being well protective of myself, I have tested positive for COVID-19,\u201d he wrote. \u201cPlease, if you are going to protest, take care of yourself and stay safe.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ogbongbemiga was one of 30 players to return to Oklahoma State on Monday, the first phase of university athletes returning to campus during the coronavirus pandemic, ESPN reported.<\/p>\n

Each of those players, in addition to coaches and other staff members, were tested for the coronavirus, a source told the outlet.<\/p>\n

Ogbongbemiga will be quarantined in separate on-campus housing, as per university protocol, according to ESPN.<\/p>\n

He will be retested Friday, and then again at a later date.<\/p>\n
