This marks third time that DiCaprio and Gomez have signed on to serve as a narrator, who have previously worked on other documentaries such as 2007\u2019s\u00a0<em>The 11th Hour<\/em>\u00a0and 2019\u2019s\u00a0<em>Ice on Fire<\/em>; and 2013\u2019s\u00a0<em>Girl Rising<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a02015\u2019s <em>Unity<\/em>, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Hollywood celebrities have been coming out in droves to encourage people to vote lately, with those \u201cregister to vote\u201d videos reaching an apex on National Voter Registration Day earlier this week.\u00a0<em>Whose Vote Counts, Explained<\/em> isn\u2019t the only project that dives deep into the U.S. voting system \u2014 on Tuesday, Amazon made available for free its original documentary\u00a0<em>All In: The Fight for Democracy<\/em>, directed by\u00a0Liz Garbus\u00a0and\u00a0Lisa Cort\u00e9s, which examines the history and ongoing effects of voter suppression in the United States. It\u2019s clear there\u2019s a more concerted effort than ever to get people to the polls and, hopefully, change things.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the synopsis to\u00a0<em>Whose Vote Counts, Explained<\/em>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The right to vote is at the foundation of America\u2019s democracy.
