“#BLM protesters face off with gun-toting Louisville store owner<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

\n An exchange between Black Lives Matter supporters and a gun-toting Louisville store owner captured the tension in the Kentucky city as protests continued for the third day since a grand jury decided not to charge any police officers in the death of Breonna Taylor.<\/p>\n

In the video<\/a>, a group of protesters gathers around the man, pressing him to voice support their cause, but he refuses to do so.<\/p>\n

\u201cDoes Black Lives Matter?\u201d a young Black man asks the man, identified as business owner Fadi Faouri by Daily Caller reporter Jorge Ventura, who posted the original clip.<\/p>\n

A woman off-screen can be heard shouting, \u201cDoes Breonna Taylor matter?\u201d and repeating the question several times.<\/p>\n

\u201cDoes it matter? I don\u2019t know,\u201d Faouri initially responds.<\/p>\n

As the exchange continues, a number of other protesters gather around Faouri, who says he is just there to protect his business. Police say protesters have broken windows of businesses and damaged city buses during the continued demonstrations.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe don\u2019t want your business,\u201d the first protester responds, asking him again if black lives matter.<\/p>\n

\u201cNobody can intimidate me,\u201d Faouri states as tension rises. Several people respond at once, peppering Faouri with questions about Taylor\u2019s death and whether he supports their movement.<\/p>\n

Taylor\u2019s death isn\u2019t his concern, Faouri says, prompting a protester to reply, \u201cIt should be your business, because all lives matter, right?\u201d<\/p>\n

One woman, who claims she is a documentary filmmaker in a second clip of the scene, tries to engage Faouri on race, but he refuses to take her bait.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou just said \u2018All Lives Matter.\u2019 You can say that, but it\u2019s the color black that is the issue,\u201d the woman says.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou have an issue with that, I don\u2019t have an issue,\u201d Faouri says. \u201cI don\u2019t see color.\u201d<\/p>\n

He adds, \u201cI don\u2019t care, white or black bulls\u2013t, I see you as a human being, that\u2019s all that I care about.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t see color. I don\u2019t believe in color.\u201d<\/p>\n

A short time later, a protester with a megaphone steps into the frame and urges the protesters to move on.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
