What if you could simply tap the back of your phone to perform an action? We\u2019ll show you how to do this on your Android phone.<\/p>\n<p>There are a couple of things you\u2019ll need to get started. First, you must have a device running Android 7.0 or above. Next, we\u2019ll need to sideload an app called \u201cTap, Tap.\u201d The process is very straightforward.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RELATED:<\/strong> <strong><em>How to Launch Actions by Tapping on the Back of Your iPhone<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Open a web browser on your Android device and head to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/forum.xda-developers.com\/android\/apps-games\/app-tap-tap-double-tap-device-gesture-t4140573?_gl=1*1m9akm6*_ga*MTY4OTEyNjMyNS4xNTg1MDYyMDAw\">this XDA forum thread<\/a>. This setting is what will allow the app to recognize taps on the back of your device and perform the various actions. There are a lot of things you can do with Tap, Tap, so let\u2019s take an overview of the options.<\/p>\n<p>First, the \u201cGesture\u201d settings allow you to choose your \u201cDevice Model\u201d and adjust the sensitivity of the gesture. The actions run in order from top to bottom. As mentioned, there are a ton of options in this app. The only limitation is your imagination.
