\n The NYPD doesn\u2019t tolerate backstabbers.<\/p>\n

Cops are looking for the public\u2019s help in identifying four men wanted for a Sept. 19 assault in Midtown when a man walking down 8th Avenue was repeatedly stabbed in the back, authorities said.<\/p>\n

The 22-year-old victim was walking in front of 601 8th Avenue around 1 a.m. when four men app<\/a>roached him from behind and struck him with a cane. The attackers then stabbed the victim multiple times in the back with an unknown object and ran off, authorities said.<\/p>\n

The victim was in stable condition at Bellevue Hospital and images of the attackers were caught via surveillance.<\/p>\n

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD\u2019s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).\n <\/p><\/div>\n
