criticizing Scott Atlas, a new member of the White House coronavirus task force, for arming President Trump with misleading information.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n       Redfield was overheard by NBC <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">News<\/a> on a phone call flying from Atlanta to Washington. He confirmed that he was talking about Atlas, who was added to the White House team in August as a neuroradiologist with no background in infectious diseases or public health.<\/p>\n<p> Some of the issues Redfield has a problem with, according to the report, include the efficacy of masks, whether young people are susceptible to the virus and the benefits of herd immunity. <\/p>\n<p>As this tweet<br \/>\n        TWTR,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/203180645\/composite\" class=\"positive\">+0.02%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       shows, Redfield isn\u2019t the only one calling out Atlas,  who was a frequent guest on Fox News before he was added to the task force:<\/p>\n<div data-layout=\"inline\n              \" data-layout-mobile=\"\" class=\"\n        media-object\n        type-InsetTweet\n          inline\n    scope-web|mobileapps\n  article__inset\n        article__inset--type-InsetTweet\n          article__inset--inline\n  \"><\/p>\n<div class=\"dynamic-inset-container article__inset__dynamic\">\n<style>\n            iframe.twitter-tweet {\n                width: 100% !important;\n            }\n        <\/style>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" lang=\"en\"><p>\n            <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RoxanaDaneshjou\/status\/1303904515607855104\"><\/a>\n            <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>        <script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>       Earlier this month, Redfield testified to Congress that he suspects that a mask could protect him from COVID-19 better than any future vaccine. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf every one of us did it, this pandemic would be over in eight to 12 weeks,\u201d he said, adding that  \u201cwe\u2019re nowhere near the end,\u201d which contradicted the president\u2019s view that the country is \u201crounding the corner\u201d on the coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement provided to NBC News, Atlas defended himself, explaining \u201ceverything I have said is directly from the data and the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/sciencee\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"5\" title=\"Science\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">science<\/a>.
