“#Billie Eilish announces premiere date for App<\/a>leTV+ documentary<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

\n Get ready to see a lot more of Billie Eilish.<\/p>\n

The 18-year-old singer, who has been notoriously hush-hush about many aspects of her private life, announced the premiere date for her forthcoming AppleTV+ documentary feature film, \u201cBillie Eilish: The World\u2019s a Little Blurry.\u201d<\/p>\n

Directed by R.J. Cutler (\u201cThe September Issue,\u201d \u201cThe War Room\u201d), the documentary is slated to premiere in theaters and on Apple TV+ in February 2021.<\/p>\n

The five-time Grammy winner released her debut album \u201cWhen We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?\u201d in 2019 and followed it up this year with the official James Bond theme song \u201cNo Time To Die\u201d for the upcoming film. She also debuted a song, \u201cMy Future,\u201d at the 2020 Democratic National convention.<\/p>\n

In the trailer announcing the documentary, a very young \u2014 and blond \u2014 Eilish can be seen smiling while sitting at a piano, playfully slapping some of the keys while giggling. It\u2019s the only snippet showing Eilish in documentary, which she has said makes her feel \u201cterrified.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve seen no part of it,\u201d she told NME<\/a> of the documentary in January. \u201cI\u2019m terrified. I\u2019m freaked out. They\u2019ve been filming since like July of 2018 \u2026 Who has that much footage of them that they\u2019ve never seen? I\u2019m terrified.\u201d<\/p>\n

Eilish, who is known for donning baggy clothing to hide her body, sent fans into a frenzy in March during a concert when she showed a video on the jumbotron of her strip<\/a>ping down as a protest to body shaming. She also released a short video in May called \u201cNot My Responsibility<\/a>\u201d calling out haters.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf I wear what is comfortable, I am not a woman,\u201d she says in the video. \u201cIf I shed the layers, I\u2019m a slut. Though you\u2019ve never seen my body, you still judge it and judge me for it. Why?\u201d<\/p>\n

The young star also has been very open about her struggles with mental health, opening up about suicidal thoughts that led to her hit song, \u201cEverything I Wanted,\u201d and her obsessive fanbase, which has led to her filing at least one restraining order<\/a>.\n <\/div>\n
