\n Brooklyn will get a giant Black Lives Matter mural similar to the one painted in yellow in downtown Washington, DC.<\/p>\n

Artists, elected officials and others joined in painting the words along Fulton Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant Saturday.<\/p>\n

State Attorney General<\/a> Letitia James tweeted a photo of herself with a paint roller in hand saying \u201cProud to help Brooklyn say it loud: <\/span>#BlackLivesMatter.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

James was standing next to the Rev. Al Sharpton who also tweeted that he was helping the effort. He posted a photo of himself with Spike Lee saying he was on Fulton Street for the renaming of the block as \u201cBlackLivesMatter Way.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The mural is expected to be finished Sunday morning.<\/p>\n
