Stocks fell in Taiwan<br \/>\n        Y9999,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/210597977\/delayed\" class=\"negative\">-0.13%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       but rose in Singapore<br \/>\n        STI,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/210597985\/delayed\" class=\"positive\">+0.60%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       and Indonesia<br \/>\n        JAKIDX,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/210597981\/delayed\" class=\"positive\">+0.40%<\/bg-quote><span>.<\/span><br \/>\n       Australia\u2019s S&amp;P\/ASX 200<br \/>\n        XJO,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/210598100\/delayed\" class=\"negative\">-0.00%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       inched up 0.1%.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n       Shares of Japanese telecom giant  Nippon Telegraph &amp; Telephone<br \/>\n        9432,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/200718273\/delayed\" class=\"negative\">-0.20%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n        fell in Tokyo trading after announcing it intends to acquire full control over mobile phone carrier NTT Docomo, whose shares were suspended from trading after the announcement.<\/p>\n<p>Stocks gained in mainland China after reports that <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/us-china-economy-target\/chinas-leaders-to-endorse-lower-2021-2025-growth-target-at-key-meeting-sources-idUSKBN26J158\" class=\"icon none\">Chinese leaders will support a lowered economic-growth forecast<\/a> for the next five years due to the global pandemic and trade tensions with the U.S. China\u2019s central bank also reportedly <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.xinhuanet.com\/english\/2020-09\/29\/c_139404717.htm\" class=\"icon none\">vowed to step up fiscal support for the economy<\/a> by lowering lending rates and financing costs.<\/p>\n<p>U.S. stocks booked solid gains Monday.  The S&amp;P 500\u00a0<br \/>\n        SPX,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/210599714\/realtime\" class=\"positive\">+1.61%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n      \u00a0rose 53.14 points, or 1.6%, to end at 3,351.60. The Nasdaq Composite\u00a0<br \/>\n        COMP,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/210598365\/realtime\" class=\"positive\">+1.86%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n      \u00a0climbed 203.96 points, or 1.9%, to close at 11,117.53. The Dow Jones Industrial Average\u00a0<br \/>\n        DJIA,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/210598065\/realtime\" class=\"positive\">+1.50%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n      \u00a0advanced 410.10 points, or 1.5%, finishing at 27,584.06, while booking its third session of gains in a row. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith the end of the month and the quarter upon markets, a lot of portfolio rebalancing is occurring in the institutional investor space.
