class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Disney\u2019s biggest National Geographic production to date is a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> adaptation of Tom Wolfe\u2019s nonfiction book about the test pilots who were selected to be America\u2019s first astronauts. Wolfe\u2019s book was split between the astronauts and a legendary test pilot, Chuck Yeager, who was not selected for the program because he wasn\u2019t a college graduate; the book made Yeager its real hero and was often surprisingly cynical and satirical about the space program. Philip Kaufman\u2019s 1983 film (a critical success but not a commercial one) followed the book, but the series, at least to start with, seems to be focusing more on the astronauts and the period setting; Yeager is conspicuously absent from both the episode de<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">script<\/a>ions and the cast list.<\/p>\n<p><i>Friday, October 9 (first episode):<\/i> \u201cSierra Hotel\u201d \u2013 Shaken by the success of the Soviet Union\u2019s space program, the U.S.A. selects test pilots to be sent into space.<\/p>\n<p><i>Friday, October 9 (second episode):<\/i> \u201cGoodies\u201d \u2013 The new astronauts must deal with unprecedented <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a> scrutiny of their public and private lives.<\/p>\n<p><i>Friday, October 16:<\/i> \u201cSingle Combat Warrior\u201d \u2013 In Cocoa Beach, Florida, married astronauts find themselves tempted by other women.<\/p>\n<p><i>Friday, October 23:<\/i> \u201cAdvent\u201d \u2013 The astronauts return home for Christmas.<\/p>\n<p><i>Friday, October 30:<\/i> \u201cThe Kona Kai Seance\u201d \u2013 The possibility of female astronauts is discussed; the media-savvy, ambitious John Glenn starts to get on the other astronauts\u2019 nerves.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Mandalorian_Season_2\"><\/span>The Mandalorian, Season 2<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The pandemic has proved that Disney was wise to launch a streaming service, but not so wise to have almost no new content ready to go after the first season of \u201cThe Mandalorian.\u201d Despite only being eight episodes long, the first season did the impossible by creating a piece of <i>Star Wars<\/i> content that didn\u2019t enrage a portion of the fanbase, and created a breakout hit character in the little puppet everyone calls \u201cBaby Yoda.\u201d Now the second season is ready, and it continues the story of the title character (Pedro Pascal) trying to protect Baby Yoda as the two of them wander the galaxy and have adventures that are charmingly reminiscent of 1990s syndicated TV.<\/p>\n<p><i>Friday, October 30<\/i>: [Title TBA] \u2013 Disney hasn\u2019t released a story or title for this episode yet, but series creator Jon Favreau (<i>Iron Man<\/i>) wrote and directed it.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Zenimation_Extended_Edition_October_2\"><\/span><b>Zenimation: Extended Edition<\/b> (October 2)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Earlier this year, Disney launched \u201cZenimation,\u201d where soothing music plays over Disney animation clips. It\u2019s true: Justin Baldoni (\u201cJane the Virgin\u201d) produced and directed this film for Warner Bros., based on the life of the late singer\/songwriter Zach Sobiech (played by Fin Argus, with Neve Campbell and Tom Everett Scott as his parents), whose signature song \u201cClouds\u201d provides the title of the film. Though set in Minnesota, the film was mostly shot in Quebec in 2019, with a 2020 theatrical release planned. When the release was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Disney+ picked up the distribution rights.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Once_Upon_a_Snowman_October_23\"><\/span>Once Upon a Snowman (October 23)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>A new animated short from Disney\u2019s animation department, filling in the backstory of Olaf (voiced by Josh Gad) the popular snowman character from the <i>Frozen<\/i> movies.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Nonfiction_Series\"><\/span>Nonfiction Series<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Meet_the_Chimps_October_16\"><\/span><b>Meet the Chimps<\/b> (October 16)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>In this National Geographic series, consisting of six episodes, we tour a wildlife refuge in Louisiana where over 300 chimpanzees live.
