Sometimes those couplings were built up to happen, but then, suddenly and inexplicably, the connection disappeared. Sometimes they\u2019re between good friends, and their relationship never turns romantic. And sometimes, a few glances or flirty words build a &#8216;ship.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, <em>The 100<\/em> is one such show. Throughout its six seasons fans have lobbied for various pairings, and some have happened while others continue to live on in their hearts. Here are six such &#8216;ships.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>The 100,<\/strong><\/em><strong> Wednesdays, 8\/7c, The CW<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div data-hash=\"2\">\n<div> <picture><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"the 100 raven murphy lindsey morgan richard harmon\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/murphy-raven-the-100-1014x570.jpg\"><\/img><\/picture><\/div>\n<p><span>Bettina Strauss\/The CW<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Murphy_and_Raven\"><\/span>Murphy and Raven<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>These two would\u2019ve made sense \u2014 well, after Season 1. Murphy (Richard Harmon) and Raven (Lindsey Morgan) ended up forming a close friendship despite that a bullet fired from his gun left her with permanent nerve damage and no mobility in her left leg (Murphy beat himself up about that for a long time, and all is forgiven between them now). They\u2019ve had plenty of sweet moments, from them playing soccer together on the ring to her telling him how to avoid going to hell, and they have the same dry, sarcastic sense of humor. It\u2019s obvious that they care about each other. While a romance never happened and it probably won\u2019t because \u201cMemori\u201d remains darn cute, their friendship is still fun to watch.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div data-hash=\"3\">\n<div> <picture><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"monty miller the 100\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/monty-miller-the-100-2-4-1014x570.jpg\"><\/img><\/picture><\/div>\n<p><span>Cate Cameron\/The CW<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Monty_and_Miller\"><\/span>Monty and Miller<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Way back in Season 2, for a fraction of a second, it looked like these two might be a thing. While Miller (Jarod Joseph) hadn\u2019t been confirmed as LGBT (yet) and Monty (Christopher Larkin) hadn\u2019t had a love interest, their chemistry seemed like it could\u2019ve been pointing to something more \u2014 but then it didn\u2019t pan out. That said, now we have Miller and Jackson (Sachin Sahel), who are adorable, and Monty and Harper\u2019s (Chelsey Reist) love story ended up being one of the show\u2019s most heartbreaking and beautiful.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div data-hash=\"4\">\n<div> <picture><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"the 100 jasper octavia marie avgeropoulos devon bostick\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/jasper-octavia-the-100-1014x570.jpg\"><\/img><\/picture><\/div>\n<p><span>Diyah Pera\/The CW<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Octavia_and_Jasper\"><\/span>Octavia and Jasper<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Okay \u2014 why didn\u2019t these two happen? Season 1 seemed to be setting it up with Jasper (Devon Bostick) developing a crush on Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos), and they even kissed! But O met Lincoln (Ricky Whittle) and the rest was history. After his death, she turned to a life of violence and vengeance and hatred \u2026 as did Jasper, after Maya died at Mount Weather. Whether they would\u2019ve been good for each other in the long run is anyone\u2019s guess \u2014 Octavia might\u2019ve gotten tired of his goofiness \u2014 but on a basic level, they understood each other\u2019s grief and pain.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div data-hash=\"5\">\n<div> <picture><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"the 100 clarke raven lindsey morgan eliza taylor\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/clarke-raven-the-100-1014x570.jpg\"><\/img><\/picture><\/div>\n<p><span>Diyah Pera\/The CW<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Raven_and_Clarke\"><\/span>Raven and Clarke<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>This one was popular enough to earn a special fan nickname: \u201cPrincess Mechanic.\u201d And back in the days when Raven and Clarke (Eliza Taylor) weren\u2019t having unpleasant disagreements about how best to solve the various crises facing the human race, it really seemed like they could\u2019ve gotten together. How they supported each other and formed a friendship rather than tearing each other to pieces about Finn flipped plenty of tired stereotypes on their heads, and let\u2019s face it: they had chemistry. Instead, Clarke went on to find love and loss with Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey), and Raven \u2026 well, Raven\u2019s had her heart broken pretty constantly since Season 2.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div data-hash=\"6\">\n<div> <picture><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"the 100 niylah octavia marie avgeropoulos jessica harmon\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/niylah-octavia-the-100-1014x570.jpg\"><\/img><\/picture><\/div>\n<p><span>The CW<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Octavia_and_Niylah\"><\/span>Octavia and Niylah<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Plenty of fans noticed how devoutly Niylah (Jessica Harmon) defended Blodreina, and she is, canonically, interested in women. Octavia\u2019s only ever shown interest in men, but who knows? These two would\u2019ve been pretty great together; Niylah sometimes seemed the only person who could get through to Octavia, and Octavia seemed to respect her even when she turned everyone else away.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div data-hash=\"7\">\n<div> <picture><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"the 100 bob morley eliza taylor clarke bellamy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/bellamy-clarke-the-100-4-1014x570.jpg\"><\/img><\/picture><\/div>\n<p><span>Diyah Pera\/The CW<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Bellamy_and_Clarke\"><\/span>Bellamy and Clarke<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Let\u2019s address the elephant in the room right away: they still could end up together by the end of Season 7. It\u2019s entirely possible, and story-wise, it makes the most sense. \u201cBellarke\u201d has had plenty of narrative setup that doesn\u2019t seem to fit a friendship. They\u2019re the Carol and Daryl of <em>The 100<\/em>, it would seem.<\/p>\n<p>The romantic implications are in everything from the way other characters point out how much they care about each other (possessed Raven implying Bellamy cared less about Gina than Clarke, Lexa telling Clarke she cared about Bellamy more than everyone else) to how their various reunion scenes always seem like two people with unresolved feelings seeing each other again. They always forgive each other and stand by each other\u2019s side in the end, no matter what. There is a deep respect between them.<\/p>\n<p>So, will they get together by the finale? No one knows. Bellamy\u2019s currently with Echo (Tasya Teles), and Clarke\u2019s not in a mental or literal place for romance.
