Unfortunately, <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">App<\/a>le doesn\u2019t provide an obvious, secure way to do this. However, there\u2019s a work-around thanks to the Notes app.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_Does_It_Work\"><\/span>How Does It Work?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You probably already know about the \u201cHidden Photos\u201d folder in the Photos app on iPhone and iPad. In\u00a0iOS 14 and iPadOS 14,\u00a0you can hide that folder, as well. However, images hidden in the Photos app aren\u2019t password-protected. There are other ways you can hide private photos on your Apple device, but they often involve third-party apps.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll show you how to use the Notes app (which is on every iPhone and iPad) and a feature <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20160421120503\/https:\/\/support.apple.com\/en-us\/HT205794\">first introduced in iOS 9.3<\/a>\u00a0to secure certain photos on your device. First, you\u2019ll have to insert your photos into a note, and then, you can\u00a0lock them behind a password, .<\/p>\n<p><strong>RELATED:<\/strong> <strong><em>How to Lock Apple Notes on Your iPhone, iPad, and Mac<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Password_Protect_Photos_Using_Notes\"><\/span>How to Password Protect Photos Using Notes<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If the photos you\u2019d like to lock behind a password aren\u2019t already on your iPhone or iPad, move them there. On an iPad, you\u2019ll find this at the top. No problem! Notes will ask you to create one. Just remember, you\u2019ll have to use this password to view all locked notes. If you\u2019ve enabled the\u00a0Notes app to sync to iCloud, this same password <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/en-us\/HT205794\">will also apply to other Apple devices signed into iCloud<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Type a password and a hint. If your device supports it, you\u2019ll also have the option to lock Notes using Touch or Face ID. After that, you\u2019ll need to visit the \u201cRecently Deleted\u201d folder in Photos and delete them there, as well.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_Secure_Are_Locked_iPhone_or_iPad_Notes\"><\/span>How Secure Are Locked iPhone or iPad Notes?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Locked notes on an iPhone or iPad <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/crypto.stackexchange.com\/questions\/52310\/apple-secure-notes-how-secure\">are encrypted<\/a> to the extent that it would be difficult to extract them, even with forensic tools. It\u2019s not ironclad state-security-level encryption, though. One research firm recently discovered some weaknesses in the Notes app. These could allow a determined attacker with unrestricted access to your device to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cellebrite.com\/en\/blog\/apples-not-quite-secure-notes\/?hss_channel=tw-209890844\">guess the partial contents of a locked note.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>These circumstances are rare, but there might also be other undiscovered bugs in Notes that could potentially compromise a note\u2019s security.<\/p>\n<p>For casual privacy purposes, however, locked notes are secure enough for most people to prevent opportunistic snooping.
