\n Eric Ebron doesn\u2019t think he and the Steelers should have to suffer the consequences of the Titans\u2019 COVID-19 outbreak.<\/p>\n

The 27-year-old tight end took to social media<\/a> on Thursday after the game<\/a> was officially postponed to later in the season to complain that the rescheduling would force him to miss his son\u2019s birthday party.<\/p>\n

\u201cim confused on how this became our problem (sic),\u201d Ebron wrote<\/a>. \u201cmy sons birthday party was bye week now i\u2019m missing his birthday & bad enough I don\u2019t even see my kids. s\u2013t sucks.\u201d<\/p>\n

The postponement is the first of its kind for the NFL after multiple Titans players and personnel contracted the virus that has taken the lives of over 1 million people globally (over 205,000 deaths in the US) since first detected about nine months ago in Wuhan, China.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe do not care,\u201d Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said via NFL Network\u2019s Ian Rapoport<\/a> of having to play 13 straight games without a bye.<\/p>\n

Ebron joined the Steelers this year by way of a two-year, $12 million contract. He began his career as the Lions\u2019 2014 first-round pick from North Carolina and most recently played for the Colts, with whom he earned Pro Bowl honors in 2018.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
