While we weren\u2019t shocked by the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a>, it does still mean that there is now a proper ending to the show as we know it. Are there spin-offs and other off-shoots out there? As it turns out, it\u2019s not really something that franchise overseer Scott M. Gimple fought for \u2014 instead, it was more of an AMC decision. Here is some of what he had to say on that subject in a new interview with <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/decider.com\/2020\/09\/25\/walking-dead-scott-gimple-interview-fear-world-beyond-rick-grimes-carol-daryl\/\">Decider<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201cYou know, that was really more on AMC\u2019s side of the equation \u2026 We have a ton of story to get through. And then story beyond that. AMC had a good idea of the space we were working in creatively, and they made a call on it. But to tell you the truth, there\u2019s so much planned.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We do think that the timing was right \u2014 ratings have been falling for the show for quite some time now and, in the end, it makes the most sense for the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> to end in a way where people can get excited again.
