\n Business owners in COVID-wracked city neighborhoods targeted for a new lockdown ripped Mayor Bill de Blasio over the move Sunday.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy plan?! What\u2019s my plan?! Start drinking?!\u201d said Queens restaurant owner Syed Hossain when told of the mayor\u2019s proposal to shut down indoor and outdoor dining again, as well as public and private schools and all non-essential businesses, in his and eight other neighborhoods starting Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Hossain, 24, is the owner of Tikka Indian Grill at 119-30 Metropolitan Ave., Kew Gardens \u2014 in zip code 11415, which had an average positive-test rate of 3.81 percent for the coronavirus for the past two weeks.<\/p>\n

The city has set its threshold at 3 percent.<\/p>\n

\u201cI gotta call my parents!\u201d said Hossain, who also owns three other city restaurants \u2014 including one in the 11211 zip code in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, which is on a city \u201cwatch list\u201d and under threat of lockdown, too.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just bought $3,000 worth of outdoor dining supplies today,\u201d the beleaguered businessman told The Post. \u201cEvery [eatery owner] just bought outdoor heaters, they\u2019re almost $2,000 each. They\u2019re nonreturnable.<\/p>\n

\u201cMr. Mayor, you are going to put everyone in these neighborhoods out of business!\u201d<\/p>\n

Cathy Alaimo, 59, who has owned Europa Pizza at 20th Avenue and 65th Street in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, with her husband since 1992, said, \u201cI was hiring \u2014 and now I\u2019ve got to fire everyone again.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s too much,\u201d said the pizzeria owner, whose shop is in the zip code 11204 \u2014 where there was a 6.74 percent positive-test-rate average for the past two weeks.<\/p>\n

\u201c[De Blasio] doesn\u2019t know what the meaning of work is,\u201d she said. \u201cHe has to stop this.\u201d<\/p>\n

John Morantes, the manager of the bar and grill Hangar 11 in the same section of Kew Gardens as Hossain\u2019s eatery, griped that the city \u201cshould close the churches and synagogues!<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s going to be hard to survive,\u201d the 32-year-old worker said.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut we gotta do it to keep people safe. We\u2019ll close. We will try to keep a few working, but we can\u2019t keep everyone working.\u201d<\/p>\n

Judith Bautista, 36, was with her 10-year-old son Jian at Brooklyn\u2019s Gravesend Park, which is in the zip code 11223 \u2014 another area targeted for lockdown again.<\/p>\n

Bautista said the community \u2014 which has seen a 7.59 percent positive-test rate in the past two weeks \u2014 employs a large number of Spanish-speaking immigrants who were\u00a0 already reeling from the economic downturn.<\/p>\n

\u201cA lot of people I know, they owe three, four or six months of rent,\u201d Bautista said.<\/p>\n

Her son is not affected by the potential school closure because he attends a charter school and is already all-remote.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
