\n Clark Middleton has died at 63 of the West Nile Virus.<\/p>\n

The actor, director and producer passed away on Sunday, according to a statement in Variety<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you for your love and support for My Mister,\u201d his partner Elissa Middleton confirmed Monday on Twitter<\/a>. \u201cI cannot count the number of times he said \u2018Give the world your best and the best will come back to you,\u2019 quoting his father Mel. And he meant it! He is in the light, happ<\/a>y and free, and sends love.\u201d<\/p>\n

Best known for his work in \u201cThe Blacklist,\u201d \u201cTwin Peaks\u201d and \u201cKill Bill: Vol. 2,\u201d the Hollywood veteran was fortunate to work with some of the best directors in the industry, including Quentin Tarantino, Robert Rodriguez, Ang Lee and Richard Linklater.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am so happy thinking of his newfound freedoms and I know his transition will be graced by the beautiful souls he loved who preceded him,\u201d Elissa also said on Facebook<\/a>. \u201cWe are so happy you loved him too and hope you will join us celebrating his remarkable life.\u201d<\/p>\n

She later asked fans to support the Clark Middleton Memorial Fund for arthritis research in his honor.<\/p>\n
