It\u2019s all about the fight choreography and the way the camera captures those mano y mano clashes. Based on this clip, I\u2019d call this movie a success: editors\u00a0Matthew Willard and Shohei Kitajima even give us a tiny fake-out when the camera cuts back to Ruby Rose during this confrontation, and when she doesn\u2019t attack, you start to wonder if she\u2019s ever going to. But timing is everything in a scenario like that, so her character wisely waits until the baddie\u2019s guard is down before she strikes, and with lightning speed, she dispatches all three of them and gets away clean.<br \/>\n<!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post --><strong>Aksel Hennie<\/strong>, <strong>Rupert Evans<\/strong>, <strong>Julian Feder<\/strong>, <strong>Louis Mandylor<\/strong>, <strong>Dan Southworth<\/strong>, <strong>Hideaki It\u00f4<\/strong>, <strong>David Sakurai<\/strong>, and <strong>Kila Lord Cassidy<\/strong> co-star in the film. <strong>Lior Chefetz<\/strong> and <strong>Joe Swanson<\/strong>, who previously collaborated on the script for a 2019 movie called\u00a0<em>Sky Raiders<\/em> and will soon reunite again for the upcoming <em>Zombie Blondes<\/em>, wrote the screenplay along with\u00a0<strong>Devon Rose<\/strong> (a relation of Ruby\u2019s, perhaps?).\u00a0<strong>Ryuhei Kitamura<\/strong>, who previously directed Japanese action projects like\u00a0<i>Godzilla: Final Wars<\/i>\u00a0and\u00a0<i>Versus<\/i> and the genuinely underrated but ridiculously titled Bradley Cooper horror flick\u00a0<em>The Midnight Meat Train<\/em>, is behind the camera as the director on this one.<\/p>\n<p>Here is the movie\u2019s official synopsis:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>In this punishing action-thriller starring Ruby Rose (John Wick: Chapter 2), a former Marine turned doorman at a luxury New York City high-rise must outsmart and battle a group of art thieves and their ruthless leader (Jean Reno,L\u00e9on: The Professional) while struggling to protect her sister\u2019s family.
