The White House hasn\u2019t said if the president is wearing a mask while in the Oval Office, or while around others. <\/p>\n<p>Ahead of the vice-presidential debate, one Saint Louis University expert on the vice presidency, Joel Goldstein, told MarketWatch that \u201cbecause of Trump\u2019s recent COVID diagnosis and because of the advanced ages of the candidates, it\u2019s possible that the vice presidential debate could take on a larger importance in terms of people\u2019s attention.\u201d Vice President Mike Pence and Democratic Sen.
