\nDemi Lovato<\/strong> is completely done with her recent engagement, free of all entanglements, and ready to move on!<\/p>\n

As you\u2019ll no doubt recall, the pop princess split from fianc\u00e9\u00a0Max Ehrich<\/strong> late last month, days after he was again called out by fans for thirsting over other celebs. And now, about two weeks after the breakup rocked the gossip world, the singer is finally closing the book on one final thing: THAT BIG OL\u2019 ROCK!<\/p>\n

According to a source who confirmed as much to\u00a0E! News<\/a><\/em> on Thursday evening, the superstar songstress did<\/em> officially return the $1 million+ engagement ring to Max at some point \u201cearlier this week.\u201d That\u2019s a nice gesture!<\/p>\n

We also learned a little bit more about the piece of jewelry itself, too!<\/p>\n

Not that it matters now, but the seven-figure ring wasn\u2019t entirely new. Instead, it contained diamonds that had previously belonged to each<\/em> party in addition to all the costly bling:<\/p>\n

\u201cPart of the ring was made from a diamond that was hers. Part of it was his.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

That\u2019s actually pretty sweet and special! Er, well, you know, if things had worked out. Alas, it\u2019s probably for the best that the drama appears to be fizzling out now, as they both ride off into the future apart from each other and \u2014- wait, sorry, what\u2019s that? You\u2019re saying Max is STILL<\/em> publicly commenting about the breakup?! Oh, no!<\/p>\n

TMZ<\/em> got the 29-year-old actor at\u00a0LAX<\/strong> on Thursday \u2014 presumably flying back into town from Atlanta where he\u2019d been on location filming\u00a0Southern Gospel<\/em> for much of the last month.<\/p>\n

Ehrich is hard to understand, mumbling in a loud terminal with his hood up, sunglasses on, and a mask covering his face (which is good!), but he still says a lot of insightful things about his split from the\u00a0Sorry Not Sorry<\/em> singer, regardless!<\/p>\n

When asked about her new breakup song\u00a0Still Have Me<\/em>, he side-stepped the question but still complimented his ex:<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s the best artist of our generation, so I support her music forever and always. I haven\u2019t heard it, but I\u2019m sure it\u2019s amazing.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Haven\u2019t heard it?! Yeah,\u00a0sure<\/em>, dude. He did acknowledge, however, that he\u2019s apparently going to let things go as far as post-breakup drama goes, and added he\u2019s going to \u201clet her be\u201d as the two of them go their separate ways:<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll have to let her be, and I\u2019m going to be. And whatever is the healthiest and the safest for both of us \u2026 Trust me, I want her to be the happiest person in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
