This device features an interface that you navigate with the included remote. However, if you lost the remote, it can be controlled with a smartphone <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If you don\u2019t have the remote or would rather use your phone, there are a couple of options. First of all, as the name implies, the\u00a0Chromecast with Google TV is a Chromecast device. You can \u201ccast\u201d videos and music to it from your phone or tablet.<\/p>\n<p>The Chromecast with Google TV is also an Android TV device at its core, which means it can be controlled by a \u201cremote\u201d app on your phone or tablet. This is a pretty good basic remote, but there\u2019s a third-party app that\u2019s even better. We\u2019ll show you how to use both.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Control_the_Chromecast_with_Google_TV_with_Googles_Remote_App\"><\/span>Control the Chromecast with Google TV with Google\u2019s Remote App<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>First, download the Android TV remote app on your\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/android-tv\/id1078761166\">iPhone<\/a>, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/android-tv\/id1078761166\">iPad<\/a>, or\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.google.android.tv.remote\">Android<\/a> phone or tablet. When you first open the app, it will ask you to accept the terms of service. You can tap around the D-pad and use the Back and Home keys just like a real remote. It includes a power on\/off button and volume controls right on the screen. This app is only available for Android devices, though.<\/p>\n<p>Download <a rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=fr.bouyguestelecom.remote\">Remote Android TV<\/a> from the Google Play Store. On the first launch, you\u2019ll be asked to allow the app to record audio.
