“#’Bachelorette’: Nick Viall & Kaitlyn Bristowe Reflect on ‘Failed’ Proposal<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Nick Viall is no stranger to being the runner-up on <\/span>The Bachelorette, <\/span><\/i>and while we\u2019re sure he\u2019s moved on from his past failed on-screen relationships, it looks like he\u2019s going to have to relive one of them tonight!<\/span><\/p>\n

The Monday, June 15 episode of <\/span>The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons \u2014 Ever <\/span><\/i>will look back on the iconic <\/span>Bachelorette <\/span><\/i>season that was Kaitlyn Bristowe\u2019s. While it was a season for the ages, it <\/span>does <\/span><\/i>however include the awkward moment in which Nick attempts to propose to Kaitlyn.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Instead of picking Nick, Kaitlyn chooses Shawn Booth instead, whom she was engaged to for three years before the couple called it quits in late 2018. <\/span><\/p>\n

Despite being blindsided, Nick reflected on his time on Kaitlyn\u2019s season in anticipation of tonight\u2019s episode and shared a post to Instagram on Sunday, June 14.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/br>\u201cIt was like waving at someone who\u2019s waving at the person behind\u2026 but million times worse,\u201d he wrote about his failed proposal.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cTBH I look back on this time of my life and have nothing but positive memories. I just didn\u2019t think ABC would make us relive the entire failed proposal tomorrow night.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cIt really was a season for the ages. You never know how you view things as time passes. Glad to be able to call KB a good friend!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Kaitlyn chimed in, seeming to share his feelings. “WHY DIDN’T YOU PUSH ME IN THE POOL?” she wrote in the comments. “Also, so glad we are friends now too.”<\/p>\n

Shawn also reacted to Nick’s post in the comments, writing “Well said, ‘other guy,'” alongside a smirking emoji, referring to the moniker he gave Nick during the season.<\/p>\n

Prior to app<\/a>earing on Kaitlyn\u2019s season, Nick was also the runner-up on Andi Dorfman\u2019s season of The Bachelorette. <\/i>He then went on to appear on Bachelor in Paradise <\/i>and became the Season 21 Bachelor, <\/i>where he ended up proposing to Vanessa Grimaldi. However, they called it quits on their relationship less than a year later.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
